Shigan was established with an objective to venture into alternative fuel system solutions for automotive OEMs. Our journey was started with Gas Carburetion system (upto BS-III) using Impco Gas mixer technology till 2008 and with onset of BS-IV emission norms we have shifted to multi point gas injection (MPGI) technology.

Shigan is the only company in India who has in-house manufacturing of Gas Injectors from past one decade and more than 3 Lacs injectors are there on Indian roads till date. With an objective of providing Advance Technology at Indian price, we have put a concerted efforts in bringing world class technologies to India and developing and manufacturing the same in-house. The same is reflected in our products offering to customer, where, we are suppling in-house manufactured Gas Injectors (along with fuel rail) of both Quantum and Westport design, Engine Control Unit (ECU) meeting BS-VI + OBD-II right from 1-cylinder upto 8-cylinder application (Westport & Nira design), High Pressure regulator, Filters and filling units.

In addition to being alternative fuel system solution providers, we diversified our self into automatic fire detection and suppression system (FDSS) for automotive application and we have indigenised the compete FDSS and its in production and supplies to OEMs. We are also supplying General Motors (GM) automatic transmissions for various defense vehicle platform. We have converted 05 locomotives on dual fuel and have another 15 units orders to convert on CNG & LNG dual fuel.

We are having electric water pumps which is a replacement of mechanical pump of ICE to improve engine efficiency. We are also into Electric Vehicle arena, we have our own Electric three wheelers brand both in passenger and cart categories and we are in this field from past 6 years.

We keep on exploring numerous technologies related to auto sector around the world and out of that, we tied-up with the most promising technology providers. These tie-ups helped us in upgrading ourselves both in terms of technology know-how and access to upgraded products. Our tie-ups include Joint Venture, Technical Assistance Agreement and Exclusive distribution agreement. Most of our agreements are with a clause of local manufacturing of products here in India and also, buy back by the partners.

Our manufacturing set up is at IMT Manesar, Gurgaon with a total plant area of 100,000 Square feet, and includes state of the art precision machineries like VMC, CNC, and Sliding head machine along with automation on all assembly processes. A Clean room for manufacturing and calibration of injectors has also been built.

We are ISO/TS-16949 certified and put a major thrust on product quality. We have all the vital quality measuring instruments in our plant for parts quality inspection. Our quality standard can be gauged from yearly receipt of Green card from our customers since the inception of our company. Due to our consistent product quality, our technology partners have discontinued the production of parts (manufactured by us) at their end and we are catering to their demand of these parts.
